James holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University (a CACREP-accredited institution). Prior to entering the counseling field, he spent over a decade in the music and entertainment industry as a Director of Information Technology, honing his problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. 

Driven by a passion for helping others achieve personal growth, James provides evidence-based care tailored to each client's unique needs. He is dedicated to leveraging his life experiences to make a meaningful, lasting impact in his community.

He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) holding an A-LPC/MHSP credential in the state of Tennessee, and maintains active memberships with the Nashville Psychotherapy Institute (NPI), American Counseling Association (ACA), Tennessee Counseling Association (TCA), and Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association (TLPCA).
